Make
the wires as short as possible so you get no problems when
you put the PS2 together again, also with too long wires you
might get timing problems, even these problems should have
been fixed with the latest update of the Messiah.
The
programming connections at the bottom of the Messiah have
the far left 4 pads not used, therefore these can be adapted
for making a nice solder bridge mount to the PS2 Motherboard
ensuring a solid mount, and also a nice ventilation distance
above the modchip for cooling of the ASIC. You do not need
to insulate the bottom of the Messiah as the circuit tracking
is coated with an insulation.
We
recommend to use for GND and +3.3 Volt a little bit stronger
wire.

We recommend to strip the wire longer, cut most of the
strands of the stranded wire, so you maybe keep 2 or 3.
These 2 are small enough to make the soldering connections.
Once all the connections are made, glue the wires so they
can not make an contact between each other. |

We recommend to make the points: A, B, C, I and H like
shown on this picture. For the points direct on the chip
you better use the alternative points on the other side
od the motherboard. |
