Installation of Magic 3.5/3.6 in Playstation 2 version 5/6 Tools Needed: Philips Screwdriver Soldering Iron (15W or less with a needle point) Detailed instructions on how to dissassemble your PS2 console are available here. Once you have access to the main board, solder the points on the chip to the points on the board according to one of the following diagrams. When you are finished the board should look like this:
